Privacy policy

CricketMind Pty Ltd (“we”) operates SKrutin (https://www.skrutin.cricket) and the SKrutin app at app.skrutin.cricket. This policy covers data we collect on the marketing site AND in the app.

What we collect

• Marketing site visits. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, page) for up to 90 days. We do not run third-party analytics on this site.
• Contact and access-request forms. Name, email, phone (optional), academy name, and any context you share. Stored in our email inbox and CRM.
• Account sign-up (magic link). Your email address. We email you a one-time, 10-minute sign-in link via our transactional email provider (Resend).
• Account sign-up (Google). When you choose “Sign in with Google”, Google sends us only the data your account permits under the openid, email, and profile scopes: your email address, full name, profile picture URL, locale, and a stable Google subject ID. We store the email and name in our users table so we can identify you across sessions; we discard the rest after the sign-in completes. We do NOT request access to your Gmail, Calendar, Drive, contacts, or any other Google service.
• Product usage. Once you sign in to the SKrutin app, we store the data needed to deliver coaching analysis — clips you upload, player profiles you create, session metadata (date, time, location), biomechanics outputs, and your workspace settings.

How we use it

Marketing-form data is used to respond to your enquiry, set up your pilot, and send pre-launch updates if you opt in. Account and product data is used to operate the app (authenticate you, store your work, generate the analytics you requested) and to improve the product through aggregate, de-identified usage analysis. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party processors

• Google — identity verification when you sign in with Google.
• Resend — transactional email (magic-link sign-in, notifications).
• DigitalOcean — hosting (compute, Postgres database, object storage in Sydney).
• Anthropic — the AI model that powers coaching analysis. Clips and analytical context are sent for inference and not retained by Anthropic for training per its zero-retention API agreement.

Children's data

The SKrutin app processes video and player data for cricket coaching, including data relating to junior players (under 18). Academies are responsible for obtaining parental consent before submitting junior players' data. We process this data only to deliver the coaching outputs the academy has configured.

Your rights and account deletion

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you have shared with us — including the data we received from Google sign-in. To delete your account and all associated data (workspace, players, clips, analytics), email hello@skrutin.cricket from the address you signed up with. We action deletion within 7 days and confirm by email. We retain de-identified aggregate analytics that cannot be linked back to you.

Updates

We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
